Barb Stasierowski has over a 40 year history in Property Management. She began in Chicago working for an investment broker and relocated to Kenosha in 1976 to take the position of Property Manager of The Shagbark Apartments, a 460 unit apartment complex. After 22 years she left to be the Director of Bear Property Management where she managed over 1000 rental units as well as several condo developments for 17 years before retiring last year. Along the way she acquired her own rental units which she currently owns and operates. She is proud to say that she has been a member of the Kenosha Landlord’s Association for over 30 years.

Brian Hervat

Brian Hervat

Brian is a co-owner of Belongia-Hervat Group, which consists of a real estate holdings company with 130 rental units, a real estate brokerage firm and a general contracting company. Brian has a Bachelors degree from St. Cloud State University with and emphasis in construction management. In 2003, Brian earned a Rental Housing Manager Certification. He has been a landlord and KLA member since 2000. He has served as Membership Director and President. Brian also sits on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Apartment Association, representing southeastern Wisconsin. In 2010, Brian was appointed as a commissioner to the City of Kenosha’s, Keep Kenosha Beautiful. Brian is also a veteran of the US Army Reserves and Army National Guard.

 

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR

Robert (Rob) Chmiel

Rob is a Chicago native and moved to Kenosha in 2007. He has worked for handful of Fortune 500 companies in Cook and Lake County and holds a degree in Accounting from Devry University. He is a member of the LCPIA and KLA and has been involved in acquiring and rehabbing 2 and 3 unit buildings as well as single family homes. He attributes his success to the rental business on the support and education provided by organizations such as the KLA. Rob is active in managing properties for himself and family and is also a member of IBEW Local 127.

 

JOIN THE KENOSHA LANDLORD ASSOCIATION

The KLA was established as a local chapter of the Wisconsin Apartment Association to promote and foster a Network of Real Estate Investors in the areas of Investing, management, legal issues and continuing education.
